We are a brand and talent management consultancy, specialists in ethical and sustainable sourcing within the fashion industry. We connect, support and develop brands and talent that believe in responsible and sustainable sourcing, design, product development and communication.
The Right Project was founded by Roxanne Houshmand - Howell. Previously a Director at Katharine Hamnett for over 10 years, Roxanne gained a breadth of experience managing key aspects of a global brand with responsibilities including brand and business development, press, image and communication strategy increasing business opportunities whilst retaining the core values and integrity of the award winning, social, environmental and political activist Katharine Hamnett CBE. Roxanne set up The Right Project in 2014 to support brands and talent that want to change the industry from within, sharing her knowledge of the negative impact of the fashion industry on people and the planet and providing solutions. Current clients include Ninety Percent, Fashion Revolution, Sunshine Bertrand and Patternity.
Roxanne works alongside Jocelyn Whipple, Jocelyn has been committed to developing a deep understanding of the fashion and textile industry in order to contribute to her work as a specialist around sustainability in this sector. Joss worked in fashion production and sourcing with emerging 'eco' brands in the early 2000's, in 2006 she opened the first sales showroom introducing sustainable fabrics and ethically produced interactional brands to UK buyers and consumers. She now works across the industry providing sourcing, sales and strategy advice to designers, brands and retailers. Her work continues with a diverse range of clients and projects. Her passion lies in tactility and universal value of textiles and in uncovering the incredibly complex stories behind the clothes that we wear.
